Pretzels, anyone??

We have about two hours before our flight so time for some people watching and some breakfast. Of course we have to sample pretzels while in Germany!

Interesting note related to passport control now that Brexit is complete. Previously we would have gone through passport control here in Germany. Once you enter the Schengen area (which provides for open borders in European Union countries), you can travel from Germany to France for example without having to go through passport control again and flights among EU countries are treated like domestic flights. Now that Great Britain has withdrawn from the EU, we will not undergo passport checks until we arrive in London. In the British eyes, we are international travelers coming from US or Germany, all the same to them!
