Covent Garden

Despite half the kiddos falling asleep at the dinner table we pressed on after dinner with a brisk walk through the crowded streets to Covent Garden. This area was where the farmers would sell their vegetables and fruits and meat at the market. The stalls of old are now replaced with boutiques, shops, bakeries and open-air dining. 

 

There were street performers entertaining the crowd in front of the Garden as well as some Easter floral displays.

 

Time for more shopping! I hope the kids have some money left after today and all the shopping they have done! Finally it was back on the Tube to the hotel for check in. We have some pretty tired students (and adults!) so it's an early bedtime to prepare for tomorrow. 

 

 

True London commuters - reading the paper, drinking coffee, reading a book, taking a quick snooze...

 

The hotel a home for the next fewdays!
