Lunch time in the city

A quick stop at the hotel to drop luggage, then a quick tutorial on how the Tube works, and we headed into the city. 

 

The Tube is incredibly clean and bright compared to the Paris Metro. We got our group of 40 on several trains and traveled about 25 minutes into the city center.  I think the students enjoyed their first foray into international mass transit.

We are in the Westminster area of London for a lunch break. This is an nice commercial street with a pretty garden to picnic. The kids have an hour to grab lunch and then we will continue our afternoon at some of the central sites.
