We made better than expected time so we arranged to make a quick stop at Harrod's before dinner. The kids were happy to hit this shopping icon - but suffered quite a bit of sticker shock once they got inside! It's beautiful inside, filled with crystal chandeliers, designer clothes, a gourmet food court ($100 for a cake!) and expensive decorations. We only spent about half an hour but time for a few students to make some key purchases. Mrs. Kennedy was very happy to hit this stop because her grandfather worked here - what a neat connection!
There's also a memorial to Princess Diana and Dodi al Faye's, whose family owned Harrod's.
Steven found a shirt from the Versace section!
As we waited for the meet up he kids enjoyed watching this fantastic violin player on the corner. The kids were mesmerized!
Next up dinner!!
