Museum Time!

After our visit to Buckingham Palace and the Queen's Gallery, we visited the gift shop (of course!) and then walked through Green Park adjacent to the Palace.

After our stroll we hopped on the Tube to head to the area near Harrod's. Originally we planned to spend some shopping time here but alas it was closed for Easter. No big deal - we have had lots of time to shop so far. We will try to add a stop there tomorrow night after our excursion to Bath.

Instead we sent the kids out for lunch and then walked back to the museum area to see those. Many of the kids wanted to go in and since it wasn't in the original itinerary we were able to add it instead of Harrod's, so it all worked out!

Half of our group went to the Museum of Natural History.  There they saw insects, extinct Dodo birds, and lots of Dinosaur fossils. While I didn't go, I had lots of great photos air dropped to me!

The other half went to the Victoria and Albert Museum which houses sculptures, fashion, jewelry, furniture and other decorative arts.
