Pizza Dinner

Our last stop of the night is back in the Covent Garden area for dinner at a pizza restaurant. By now the kids are getting more familiar with the area and it's neat to see them realize they actually kind of know their way around a bit!

 

 

Tonight we were lucky to get an appetizer with dinner - garlic breadsticks with a pesto, hummus, and fill sauce trio for dipping. We also got soda included which was definitely out of the ordinary! There was a little confusion when the kids were offered lemonade and out came 7-up!

 

Dinner was a huge personal pepperoni pizza on a thin wood-fired crust. The pepperoni was a touch spicy so quite a few of us pepperoni piles on our plates after we finished! For dessert we had chocolate and vanilla ice cream. 

 

 

 

Now we are heading back on the Tube to the hotel with a quick stop at the mini mart for snacks. Tomorrow we leave for Paris so we have to pack tonight - I don't know how some of these kids are going to get everything they bought in their suitcases!  We have a 5:00 a.m. transfer to be train station so wake up call will be at 3:30 a.m...I think we may have some sleepy kiddos tomorrow on the train for sure.
