Les vignobles

We are busing our way through the south of France this morning from Avignon to Couillière just north of the border of Spain and then onto Barcelona. We have just sopped at a rest stop to load up on snacks and soda :). They are delighted to have found Lipton tea though it is mango or peach flavored. Sweet tea has not come to France yet :)

As we drive we are starting to see the snow capped Pyrenees in the distance and occasionally a view of the Mediterranean Sea. Also we are seeing lots of vineyards as this region is known for wine and also olives. I'm not sure what an olive tree looks like so its possible we are seeing those too :). The other thing we are seeing are lots of windmills. There is quite a green energy movement here.
