Dinner at Tours

We have had a rest at the hotel and are now off to our authentic Brasserie dinner in Tours. It is very much like a mini Paris. While Paris has 2 million city proper and about 12 million total metro area, Tours only has about 150,000. It is the home base for those looking to explore the chateaux of the Loire and has several universities as well. 

Our restaurant overlooks the town hall of Tours and while we were posing for a picture, an intrepid waiter decided to photobomb!  On the menu tonight is duck and for dessert an île flotante, which is merengue and custard creme. The kids loved the potato pancakes served with the duck and most everyone enjoyed the duck as well - many said it tastes like chicken.
