Saumur

We had another stop this afternoon in an off the beaten path town. Saumur has another chateau overlooking the river, a tank museum and lots of shopping. 

We have the kids some more free time to spend some more euros and grab a snack before our dinner in the mushroom cave. 

Even Froggy had never been to this town but we all commented on how picturesque this town is. I think the kids loved how small town French it is. I came across same at the top of the chateau (that was a long hike up the old quarter streets), some in a bookstore, some having a café...so becoming true Frenchies!

And now we are on the bus in the way to the mushroom cave for dinner...and we have moved into karaoke!  Oh how this group has bonded!
