Crepe dinner
Yummy dinner of ham, cheese, and egg buckwheat crepes with chocolate crepes for dessert. We took over basically the whole restaurant! After dinner took a leisurely walk back to the hotel to give the kids an early night for bed. We did 8 miles of walking yesterday and another 5 today. We are getting our steps in to work off this delicious food!

L’Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysées
After returning from Versailles our tour dropped us off at the top of the Champs Elysées to do some shopping down the most famous boulevard.

We made sure to practice good hand washing hygiene and use lots of hand sanitizer.
Kids did some shopping and lots of people watching!
Palace of Versailles
This palace is immense, there is no way to do it justice in photos. It is the epitome of opulence and unlike anything we have at home. It was also deserted! Typically the lines here are very long no matter the season. I was shocked when we arrived and the bus lot which usually houses 100+ buses and has strict time limits for how long you can stay only had 7 coaches in it. We literally had the palace to ourselves!

Just for comparison this is the same shot from one of our previous trips (left) to the visit today (right side).
Outside the gates
Main entry rooms
King and Queen’s bedrooms
The kids were troopers listening to the audio tour full of more history than they probably ever wanted and just taking it all in. I will post a bunch more photos in the Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/MHSBlueDevilsTravelClub/
The Hall of Mirrors
The kids just chilling on the steps of the palace!
Amazing trip!
