Empty streets and no lines

I have alluded to this in earlier posts, but there really is nobody here touring the city here or in London. It has been almost unreal to see how deserted many of these places are, as when we have been previously it’s been packed. Tonight we walked right up to the Eiffel Tower - unheard of! Typically it’s a 2-3 hour wait! Trains are empty, streets are empty, shops are empty in the tourist areas. The coronavirus is on everyone’s minds obviously but there are so few people out and about it seems like we have the place to ourselves. I have never seen it like this, and frankly we are enjoying the speed at which we are able to access attractions! Wanted to share a few photos that show just how empty it is.

No mines to access the tower - normally this is packed completely up.

No one in the train station from London to Paris. https://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=11a5sVmPH99NcPC8ILUvkuwlWWg2gt7z1

There is a lot of signage out in public places reminding people of healthy habits.

I want to report that our groups is happy and healthy, and no one has shown any symptoms of any illness. We have been by ourselves much of the time so avoiding people has been very easy.  We have not come into contact with others who appear to be sick, coughing, or from the countries that currently have widespread infection. We check the information from the CDC and WHO daily to make sure things haven’t changed. We do have alternate plans in case things should change drastically very quickly but it seems as though things will be fine. There are still no travel advisories for either England or France from the CDC, the WHO is urging people not to cancel their travel, and more than 95% of the cases are contained to just a handful of countries which we are not visiting.

Just wanted to give an update as I know it is something on people’s minds.
