From the train to the boat! We walked across the street from the station toward the water station to get to Lucerne.
The boat ride across Lake Lucerne is like something straight out of a postcard, with clear blue waters surrounded by the Alps. The lake is huge, and we could see little villages dotted along the shoreline, all with traditional Swiss houses and charming old churches. It was like cruising through a real-life fairytale! We saw of that famous Swiss money in the mansions along the shore couldn’t find them on Zillow though!
The journey was so peaceful, with the mountains towering in the background, and we couldn’t stop snapping photos of the views.
We spread out along the bottom level of the boat. We slide expensive, looking houses, cute little churches, cows, and jeep grazing on the side and everything that you would imagine Switzerland look like. Some stopped in the café and have a quick hot drink, and we took advantage of the fresh clean restrooms, as well as just being outside in the fresh air. Truly, the weather is amazing!
