Ferry to Venice

We are one of the Venetian canals on our way into the city. We were prepared for chilly but the weather is not actually that bad! 

Venice is a city of islands connected by canals, and is often called "The Floating City". Gondolas are traditional boats used to travel along the canals. Venice was once an independent empire and a great maritime power.  Venice is known for its lace and glass artisans, and its Venetian masks, which are a symbol of the city's festivities.
