Here’s a typical breakfast at our hotel (Facebook readers, click through to the blog from the preview to see the photos):
Cereal bar:
All kinds of bread including pretzel rolls
Yogurt, jams and fruits
Meat and cheese - several folks made sandwiches to go for lunch!
Hot bar with potatoes and beans:
Hard boiled eggs
Then it was time to grab all the warm wear and head outside to grab the bus. Our morning agenda is to head into the Alps, where we will ride a cable car in Weggis up to the top of Mount Rigi, then take a cog wheel train down the mountain, and then take a lake cruise to Lucerne. And that’s all before lunch!
